I love this hat! I found it while I was googling slip stitches. I’m designing a pair of socks with slip stitches, and I love this effect. I think I’m going to make one in Malabrigo.

I would like to join! I didn’t think I would get to it but I finished the hat I was working on for my boyfriend’s grandmother much more quickly than I though. I have one question though. Do you use any particular cast-on that makes it easier to do the crochet edging at the end? I was going to use the regular long-tail cast-on but I wanted to confirm that was right before I started.

the hat is great! That is you I presume? The color looks good on you. I might just make it even though the need in So.Cal is pretty low for wool hats. I’ll check back to see what you’re doing for the knit along. Sounds like fun.
