Knitting again!

Tho’ my spinning wheel is seriously calling, but I’m liking pushing out some Finished Knits and getting them off my plate.

The Uptown Boot Socks are done!

You can’t really see that they’re totally cabled everywhere, but I like them, and as I said awhile ago, I want to knit them again in a more appropriately patterned yarn.

And I’ve picked up the Sea Silk Stole again and am cruising along.

It’s so lovely.

The cables don’t show much, but the yarn sure striped nicely! I love the way that it stripes differently on the foot than on the ankle.

The lace looks great, too. I can hardly wait to get home from work so that I can work on one of my lace projects!!

The wsocks turned out great!! The stole is looking gorgeous!!!!! I really have been wanting to get some sea silk. I’m starting my first ever lace project. I think once I have a few under my belt I can then splurge on the sea silk. It is so pretty :o) I can’t wait to see it all finished up!

Hey, the socks look lovely, as does the Sea Shawl! I’m glad you had fun at your softball game Saturday; did your team win?

(Also, I’m looking for shoes now. I always remember to do that at random times, but never when I’m at my computer. Sorry for slacking.)

Hi Laura — long time lurker, but haven’t commented yet. I love your Sea Silk Stole — what pattern are you using? I have one skein of Haindmaiden Sea Silk that I’d love to use for a stole, and this one seems perfect. Oh, by the way – I am also near where you live, in Puyallup. I actually saw you at last year’s Stitch and Pitch in Seattle. I recognized you because Clark had his Superman blanket with him 🙂

I love the socks! And the lace! The lace. What can I say? Gorgeous pattern. Perfect color. ::happysigh::

Wow – the stole looks so lovely. I’m definately putting that one on my to-knit list – and in the sea silk as well! I’ve been looking for an ‘excuse’ to buy some 🙂
