Holy cow, they’re gone.

It’s hard to believe, though the dreary, misty, wet and gray day helps it feel a little more natural for “back to school”.

There was a thunder storm last night, and Nate said the weather was lamenting the start of school. But the girls were so excited this morning. Their little eyes so bright…

What am I going to do with myself today?

We got some fantastic lamps for the downstairs last night at Kasala’s Labor Day Sale.

It is absolutely amazing, the difference lighting can make in a room.

I’m really happy with what we found, even though they no longer carry the wood veneer lamps I mentioned yesterday. The table and floor lamp are very low profile, which works in the space nicely, and they give off a great atmospheric light.

To answer my earlier question, I’m going back to Home Depot to get more paint and light bulbs.

And I’m going to eat well today, dangit.

The room looks great. The combination of the floor lamp, the wall color, and the leather couch gives off a very sophisticated vibe.

Your downstairs looks so awesome!!! I LOVE that floor lamp with the several arms on it. I especially love how its casting light up on the ceiling as well. Way too cool. I really need some more lamps for our living room. I totally love how the room came out.

Your girls are so cute. They look really excited. Wow, only one to care for for a few hours! What will you do with yourself (especially at nap time:)). Your room looks really great. I could sure get comfy in there with a cup ‘o coffee and some yarn. Hope you get to enjoy it.

Ooh they look so excited and so cute too going to school together. Enjoy the one on one time with Clark, and try and get some more knitting and spinning done. At least now you can relax a bit, and I am sure you will have your own routine soon too.
