What a guy

I came to find out that while I didn’t get any pictures of our outing on Saturday, Nate did with his iphone!

I think my first batch of washed wool is dry

If I’m a good girl, clean the house a bit, and exercise, I’m going to wash some more!

The camel/silk roving is FINALLY all spun into singles, and I’ve been working on plying it. It’s taking a really long time. I don’t think I’ve ever spun this much yardage out of a single roving, and I’m anxious to see how much I end up with.

And today, Clark has joined the masses of toddlers (though he still isn’t toddling) that wear colanders on their heads.

Which had me totally flashing back about 8 years to Abigail.

oh wow…look at all that wool!!! I have been leaving my hubby some very obvious hints that I want a wheel for xmas. If I get one…will you show me how to use it? Please??? LOL.

Ahh yes….colander headgear. We have that around here as well. Too cute!!!

    Heh. iPhone to the rescue.

    Also, cute photos.

I LOVE SHEEP. We went to the petting zoo, got attacked by goats, snuffled by pot bellied pigs, sneered at by alpacas, and I spent my time chasing the sheep around and examining their wool.

P.s. I like the colendar too. My toddlers found a caterpilar, put it in the dolly stroller, and took it for a walk around the house today. I’m not sure where he ended up. Probably squished in the carpet somewhere.

What a cute colendar kiddo! Mine is 17 now, I wonder if I could get him to do it again? The lamb fleece is SO SOFT! It was great getting together to knit and to get the chance to do the official touch and feel of the fleece. I love the sheepy photos too. Looks like a great day at the Farm.

That is a _lot_ of wool! Can’t wait to see what you’re planning to do with it!
