Reality

We bought the pads for the chairs yesterday. I don’t know what else we did, but mopping and granola didn’t happen.

We made the granola this morning, and once the boy goes down for a nap in a few minutes, we’ll mop (I hope).

A housepainter came over last night to give us a bid. I’m happy with the bid. He said our colors were “gosh awful”. (He wasn’t being rude, I asked). The colors are more Nate’s push than mine, but he’s having second thoughts, so I think we’re going back to the paint store to get more quarts of sample colors. Any thoughts?

I’m reading the Twilight books again, in preparation for the 4th book coming out in a few weeks. It’s so fun.

Just as word of caution that you can take or leave: You don’t want to get too “arty” when it comes to the color of the OUTSIDE of your house. While I too hate the cookie cutter look of newer developments on the Eastside, you don’t want the color to be so far out, your home becomes, well, audacious.

I am getting really excited for Breaking Dawn!! I am going to start my re-read on the 27th as I have a big exam on the 26th that I need to spend all of my time studying for, so I just hope that I will not end up starting Breaking Dawn too late.

Are you going to the Seattle pseudo-concert/signing event? I decided against it but now I wish I had gotten tickets!

The Twilight books are the Young Adult vampire romance books by Stephenie Meyer. They’re really fun.

Abigail- Yeah, I’m excited, too. I’m half way through New Moon right now.

I’m not going to the concert, but Nate pre ordered at Barnes & Noble, so we’re probably going to the party and midnight release the day before.

I’m liking Jacob a lot this time through, but I think it’s Eclipse that really makes me not like him. A number of my friends like Jacob a lot more than Edward, though. I don’t get that at all. Edward is divine. Laura
