The Kilim Shawl

I’ve finally started knitting with my Philosopher’s Wool. I’m making the Kilim Shawl.

It’s knit circular fair isle in a cone, then cut open and fringed. The colors are magnificent.

I’m still quite sick. It seems to be picking up intensity so it looks like I’ll be in bed much of this week as well as last week. But much of last week was just pregnancy fatigue. Now it’s that plus a sinus infection and accompanying yuck.

I’m sorry to hear you are still sick. That shawl is going to be gorgeous – hopefully those bright colors will pick up your spirits. Spring Break I was very sick – too sick to knit or spin! Much better now though I’m still fighting off the cold. Now I’m trying to finish a shawl, working on some socks, and making plans to do some more dyeing. I need to decide what fiber to get and find a good source for citric acid…
