Quick post

Sorry, things have been busy. So, here’s a picture Liv took last night of me knitting on the blanket

and here’s a picture of the blanket so far, well, two pictures. Neither one has very accurate color, but it’s the best I can do this morning.

To my fellow Americans, have a fabulous Thanksgiving. To everyone, I’ll probably pop back in on Friday. I’m about to take Veronica to school and then run to the store to get stuff for baking a bunch of rolls, pumpkin pies, and that yam/marshmallow thing for our dinner tomorrow, as well as for the party my brother is going to.

If any of you have a recipe for that yam/marshmallow thing that works, I’d love to hear. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it yet.

Wow I am amazed at all that you accomplish. You are so busy!!! I love the colors in the afghan. I think it is really pretty. What kind of yarn are you using for it?

That first pic is pretty darned cute! I love your blanket..pattern, colors, all of it. It’s gorgeous! I’ve seen other knitted log cabin style blankets, but your is the first one that makes me think I might like to knit one, too. Looks like the perfect project for sitting on the couch, watching movies.

    Hi La!!
I have missed you sooooooooooo much! And it sounds like I’ve missed out on a lot things, too. I have good news – I moved back to Bothell into the house with Art. I am hoping we can spend a little time together. I’ve missed you bunches and even when I’m out of touch I think of and pray for my friends.
    Hugs,
    Gayle
