And just like that

It’s a shoe.

I love this pattern. I know I continue to say it. But I do. It works up really fast. It’s ingenious. And although I had nothing to do with the pattern’s creation, I always feel brilliant after making one.

The sign-up for our stitch marker give away is now closed. I just finished compiling names, and I’ll do the drawing soon. There are 41 of you. I need to decide for sure how many names to draw. Postage is my only concern. You should know by now I have an abundance of markers! I really don’t mind spending the money, but it adds up after awhile. I still have some stamps left from the last one. I need to hunt them down and see what I’ve got.

    When I read that you were making another pair of the felted clogs, I thought, “good for her!” Now that I see an (almost) finished one I just had to write to you and tell you what a horrible time I’ve had with that pattern! It’s my nemisis! I’m serious! I have been knitting for well, about a HUNDRED years and have never had a pattern fight me so!

    I just wanted to share and encourage you to keep up the good work and have fun with that pattern! You go girl!

    Incidently, I have the first clog off the needles and have put it away for the summer to start the second sole sometime in the fall. But getting that first clog done was a very long process! UGH!

    Should I be chosen to receive some of the lovely, amazing, and inspiring stitch markers, I would totally be willing to pick up the postage. I’ll mail you cash or you could send cod – whatever works best for you. I’m just saying, you know, if I’m picked. ;}

    I am also willing to do what kc said…it would be worth it for the beautiful work on the stitch markers you do!

    I didn’t mean to post that I wasn’t done! silly me….the clog is so cute! I love it!One of these days I am going to have to try felting, I’m just so scared! The things you make are so beautiful! I hope that I will be that good or close to that good some day.

    The clog looks great. I am a little scared of doing a pair myself. Maybe you could set up a postage fund? Your Hayden hat saved me yesterday. I wrote the details on my blog, but thought I’d tell you thank you. 😉

    I did not enter to win, but I think the contest is a lovely idea. Perhaps, if you host it again, you could have entries via sending you a SASE (self addressed stamp envelope) and the winners get stitch markers and those not drawn get a print out of how to make their own. Like everyone wins 🙂

    great work on your flowerbasket wow.

    Isn’t that pattern just so cool! It makes me wonder how the heck they came up with it! I made a pair for myself and I wear them all the time. Then I made a pair for my mom, whose feet are cold year-round, and she was so happy I thought she was going to pop!
