This past month has been both busy and extremely difficult. We are going to have to move, so we’ve been trying to get the house ready to go on the market. It went live last Thursday, and we WEREN’T ready, so the weekend was all sorts of fun trying to balance house work with people walking through and looking.
Ugh.
I really don’t have any idea where we’re going to end up. We’d like to move to Austin, TX once the school year ends. That’s what we’re working towards, but who knows what will happen between now and then? Certainly not me.
But I want to be warm. And I want to be near my sister. And I want to be somewhere with friendlier taxes for small business, and better cost of living. Plus, I’m intrigued by the whole “live music capital of the world” thing.
So, we’re hoping for Austin.
Regardless, we need new doors to knock. New bushes to beat. It’s not working here, time to go.

You are young, you have a lovely little family, and you are both talented and active people. This adversity will make you stronger. I am old enough to be your grandmother and then some, and I can tell you that you really do not know who you are and what you can do until you are tested both as individuals and as a couple. And when that happens, and you come out the other side okay, you realize that you are strong and capable, and pretty darn hard to knock down. I know it might be frightening now, but wait until you can look back and see how you weathered this. Your roots will be intertwined even more with those of your husband’s, and your children will be stronger than they were and more aware of what really matters. Blessings sometimes comes dressed in the clothing of adversity. You will see. I won’t wish you good luck because that won’t help. Just always hold hands as you fall asleep and remember what it’s all about, and take it ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Good luck with selling your house and your move. My brother in law went to grad school in Austin and he and his family love it. I trust that everything will work out.
