Boys

The last two days, after the girls have come home from school, I’ve asked them what their favorite part of the day had been. Both days Olivia’s eyes have gone mischievous and sparkly and she said, “Chasing boys! (Giggle, giggle).”

Then last night, at about 6:30, there was a knock at the door. Two 2nd grade boys that had ridden to our house were standing on our porch asking if Abby could come out and ride bikes. The house unloaded, and everyone but me went out and rode around the neighborhood for an hour. You can bet Nate went too. And this is the second day of school!

I’m in bed again today. I’m nauseated, but at least it isn’t painful. However today, I’m way dizzy. This sucks.

Any Cable-Eights going on?

    And so it begins….

I’m glad the pain is at least decreasing, although you still have the nausea, which sucks.

after seeing your cable 8 I was inspired and started one. I seem to be in a bit of holding pattern with my progress, front and 3/4 of the back done. I started August 12 and I really want to wear it once before the weather changes.

That is too funny! Although I’m incredibly thankful that my 2nd and 3rd grade sons still think girls are annoying. 😉
My cable-8 may never happen. I have the yarn, but now no time. Christmas and fall knitting has to start happening soon. Hopefully I’ll be able to knit it eventually.
I hope your nausea goes away quick. Were you this sick with the girls? I was sick for the whole 9 months with my boys.

Aww, they are thinking about boys already? 🙂

By the way, you mentioned the girls wishing for a little brother… I really love mine now, but when I was a child I tried swapping him for a cat with my grandma. (And I can tell you it wasn’t just once.) Strangely my grandmother didn’t agree on this, go figure. 🙂
