Productivity is a beautiful thing

I started and finished the Manly Hayden yesterday.

It’s such a great pattern. I love it.

Today, I’m once again working on the Interlocking Balloons Scarf. It’s going much faster now that I’m familiar with the wretched chart, but I’m still anxious to be done.

The VCC is creeping back into my thoughts. I need to weave in a few more ends and buy and install a zipper to complete it.

And……. It looks like there’s some Esther activity happening out there! Malle has started hers, and it looks really good so far!

Well – I’ve gotten through 1&3/4 pattern repeats and hopefully before bed this evening I’ll be up to the decrease portion of this awesome pattern… The first few rows I struggled because this is the first time I’ve ever done the LSYO *thing* and it looked funny – so I kept ripping it off and starting over… so after some self talk and just “going with it” I have a pretty darn cute hat… I am knitting in the only yarn I had that made gauge at the time which is Lambs pride in a BRIGHT pink…. good thing I have a 10 year old niece who lives for pink… I do think i will have to knit several more of these before the big “C” next month! My girlfriend was eyeing it on the whole drive to Burlington today – just loving the pattern…

Thanks Laura – so add another Esther AND Hayden to my list of To-knit’s before Christmas…

at least they are awesome patterns!!!

    thanks for that…

a picture to come when I get my camera battery charged

The bow on the wreath looks like it’s part of the hat!

I like the soft, muted tones of the hat. Very man-friendly.
