Veronica stole my tea

About the only thing I’ve been sorry I packed up early is my teapot. I wish I had left one of them out, because very shortly after packing and sending them off, I started drinking a lot of herbal tea again.

Today, I was sitting at the table with a cup of Wild Raspberry and Veronica asked for some. So I passed it her direction, intending to share. She got an ice cube and cooled it off. Which was ok. Then she asked me to please stop drinking her tea.

Right.

So I made a couple more cups. I’m trying to re-hydrate myself. I still feel awful, and I’ve lost my voice.

This is very disconcerting to Veronica, who is sure I’ll never be able to talk again, despite mine and Nate’s frequent reassurances to the contrary.

I’ve been too sick to knit. Again. So the blanket looks more or less the same as it did in yesterday’s post.

Hey, we were reading your blog today and I saw the post about the jogging stroller…We have a Safety 1st one and you can position the handle. It goes high enough to be comfortable even for Luke…I don’t know if they still make that model ’cause I got it when EmJ was born, but you could check it out. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s heavy, but again, a newer model is probably lighter. Oh, also, you can sit the baby rear or forward facing…great for newborns. Anyway, sorry this got so long! Congrats on selling your house!

The blanket looks great…are you going to put a backing on it? Hope you feel better soon 🙂

In your post about the daisy swatch turned scarf, you asked about a rebecca pattern — I just ran across it while looking for a summer tank to knit! In case you hadn’t found it yet…it’s Rebecca Magazine No. 26. They have it for sale at http://www.theknittinggarden.com
