More yarn=more projects

Hey Hayden, guess what! I finally have, in my very possession: Yarn to make some Weasley Sweaters!

Hooray! It’s seven skeins each of Silky Tweed. I don’t know when I’m going to actually start them, but I have the yarn, and that’s a step.

And, it is not any great surprise that after seeing my felted clogs last week, mom decided that she needed some. Behold, her color choice…

This is Lamb’s Pride in Jack’s Plum and Ink Blue. I think they’ll be smashing.

As for actual knitting… the precious few minutes I was able to spend on the craft yesterday were spent on the Manos mitts. I still love them. I am under the impression that Manos is going to prove significantly warmer than Kureyon. At least it seems that way.

Ooh, I’m first today! I love that color combo for the clogs… I do plan to knit some of those in the near future. Last night I went to my other knitting group in Lake City and made excellent progress on my son’s little (Punk Rock) backpack. And I am proud to say my Meema’s bag is currently drying and looks fabulous! I can’t wait to use it. I’ll have lots of work to show off on Friday. 🙂

oooh I love Silky Tweed! I tried it out for a sweater this year but it wasn’t the right yarn for the job. I must find a use for it next year! It’s so light and airy yet has a wonderful depth to the colors.
