Health Group- Year 3, week 16

This past week started out very well. I did treadmill Monday, weights and PT Tuesday, and went for a walk on Wednesday. I don’t remember what happened Thursday and Friday to keep me from exercising, but I didn’t. I ate pretty well until Thursday night, when I ate too much thai food, which seemed to be the start of a self indulgent downfall. But I still feel good.

    My pedometer came! I was so excited! I walked 1.67 miles yesterday. I am not sure the counter is totally correct, but I measured (well, sort of anyway) my stride and adjusted the thing so now it seems a lot closer than it was. It was set at a stride of 60 inches per step! That’s 5 feet for Toes Sake! Who has a 5 foot stride???
    Anyway, I think mine is 21 inches. And I didn’t even “go walking” yesterday. That was just running all over the hospital when my mother had surgery. I am very interested to see it when I dog-walk.
