I wore Cable-Eight to church yesterday, and had at least three or four people tell me they liked my vest. I don’t know why that bugs me so much, but I really don’t like thinking of me in a vest! I know, I need to get over myself. Here’s a picture of Cable-Eight. It’s the only shot taken that I liked. I’ll try to get a better one later.

At the risk of being the unpopular one — did you wear Cable 8 over another shirt? If so, I would guess that’s why others are calling it a vest.

Clearly, YOU know it’s not a vest. And WE know it’s not a vest. Obviously, everyone else just needs to get clued in 🙂
Love the color, and the finished project fits you perfectly. Is it Cotton Fleece? That’s one of my favorite yarns. I just picked a very similar color (in wool) for a surprise project I am working on. So it won’t show up on my blog until it’s done and the gift-ee receives it!

OK- I think I’ll try mine on as a vest before I send it to the frog pond. I never wore it out of the house and that warrants frogging!
I am also against vests – but it couls work for “work attire” this fall 🙂
