Noro clogs

I got most of the clogs done yesterday.

They’re Noro Kureyon and an assortment of Lamb’s Pride. I have to finish the cuff on one, and knit the outer soles for both. Then we’ll felt these babies and see what happens. The colors are kind of neat.

I’m feeling a little better. My tailbone is still sore, but not bad. I have no energy at all, and everything I do is a huge physical effort. I just want to sleep, and Clark was up twice last night. Nate helped out and took him at 4 this morning. He (Clark) is really grumpy. I don’t know if he’s still feeling a bit sick or what.

HA! Those unfelted clogs look as big as Clark (who, btw, looks so cute!)-hysterical.

Also, I’m sorry to hear that you’re still feeling poorly/tired. I hope Clark is feeling better, I’m sure that would help. Are we off for tonight then, or do you think you’ll feel up to it?

Well, it looks like there is a little bit of a silver lining to this cloud: you get time to knit! Your clogs look great. I can hardly wait to see them finished.

I can’t belive how big Clark is getting. Seems like it was Veronica was the little one not to long ago.

I have this pattern and have been meaning to knit them for awhile. I had bought some Lamb’s Pride, but didn’t realize till I got home that I bought the bulky and only 1 skein of each of the 2 colors. (no, I didn’t read the pattern that carfully when I bought it) Do you think 2 skeins of Bulky will work? do you think only useing 1 strand will be the same as 2 strands of Worsted?

I suppose I could do a swatch, but don’t really want to try unless there is a possiblity of the yarn not running out on me

I have got to get the clogs pattern. Is it the fiber trends one? I have seen it and just haven’t broken down and bought it yet…but so many people are making them that I think I might have to do it. I can’t wait to see what they look like all felted. I love felting. It’s like magic!

I’ve had the yarn for ages, so I really need to knit these clogs! As for the baby, if it makes you feel any better, I’ve been up half the night for the past two weeks! I felt like a zombie today…

Your little one is soooo cute! (as are all of your sweeties!) What a great idea to mix the Noro with the Lambs pride. I have a bit of both – not enough for much separately, but together… well, that is a great thought. And I have the pattern! Whoot!
